Best Since...

This was my nightmare. Which is a crazy way to start an article about the best Illini basketball recruit since 1992. But I was so afraid that when it finally happened, it would be a reclass. A reclass means I won't be able to say it definitively. And I've been waiting several decades to say it definitively. I kept these lists for so long just so I could say it definitively. And now I can't.

The reason I hate grade inflation in modern recruiting rankings so much? It waters down all "best recruits in years!" declarations. I just wrote about this a few weeks ago. A snippet from that article:
