Might not be the same old Illini, but the new and improved Illini still found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We still haven't learned how not to lose games. Two unsportsmanlike conducts, a bunch of penalties in key situations, three turnovers. We aren't nearly good or talent laden enough to make mistakes like that and win. Objectively, not beating Indiana makes 4-8 a lot more probable than 5-7, and really makes 6-6 and bowl eligibility a challenge. One step forward, two steps back.
