Yeah, I wasn't even mad after the game. I see a lot of comments online about effort being the problem, but I don't really think that's an issue. This group plays hard. I think there's even been an improved shot selection, Mayer excluded, the last handful of games. They just can't shoot from 3, but remain deeply, deeply committed to taking a lot of them. There are stretches where you can see how it all should work, but the consistency just isn't there. One of the strangest Illinois teams I've ever seen.
