Agree about the running game. That's what made that terrible trick play even more unnecessary. Our runs (that is running plays, not including sacks) to that point were for gains of 2, 7, 2, 8, 7, 5, and 6. The trick play was on a 3rd and 1. We had gained at least 1 on every single rushing play so far. And it came at a time when we desperately needed to sustain a drive. Really bad call. Though it's not like Lunney is reading this, and even if he was, he's already aware how badly it turned out, so I'm just venting at this point.
