SOC - Kansas 2024

I just took a shower (can't waste time showering in the morning) and as I was using a Q-tip to clean my ears, something I've done thousands of times, I had this thought that if I suddenly lost control of my motor function and pushed the Q-tip in too far I might burst my eardrum which would cause me to miss the game tomorrow. So I very carefully cleaned my ears to make sure I wouldn't miss the game tomorrow.

When something is really important, I do stuff like that all the time. I'm outside a few hours ago loading tables onto the top of a damn fire truck and I keep stepping down off the back bumper holding on with two hands because if I twist an ankle I might miss the game tomorrow. That thing I say all the time about how Bielema teams are risk averse when pinned deep? I'm risk averse when there's a big game tomorrow.

And there's a massive game tomorrow. A sold-out game tomorrow. A high of 68 degrees, 0% chance or rain, #19 coming to town, epic all-day tailgate game tomorrow.
