The Final Countdown

You have to be at least 40 to understand that. Well, maybe not. A lot of people know it from Arrested Development when Gob would perform magic tricks (sorry, "illusions"). But you probably have to at least be 40 years old to remember The Final Countdown by Europe. Hair metal at its finest.

Yeah, I know it's a weird way to start a post, but here's what led me to all of this.

Step 1: We push out to a big lead in the second half mostly because of Kasparas Jakucionis and Tomislav Ivisic.

Step 2: I tweet this.

Step 3: The moment I tweet that, I have this riff in my head:

Step 4: I get home and I start writing and I put The Final Countdown in the "post title" box and now I have no idea why I wanted to call it The Final Countdown.

WAIT. I remember why. This begins the countdown to the incredibly difficult closing stretch. And we will be led by Europe (Jakucionis and Ivisic) as we tackle it all. Somebody get me a synthesizer STAT.
