Those Were The Days - Michigan

Gee, I wonder what game Detlef will pick this week? Maybe the 1983 Michigan game? Perhaps he'll take us back to 2009 and the Terry Hawthorne rundown followed by the goal line stand? Or maybe, just maybe, he'll pick the stadium dedication game.

Here's Detlef taking us back (literally) 100 years ago today.

This week Illinois hosts Michigan on the 100^th anniversary of the dedication of Memorial Stadium.  Head Coach Bret Bielema should play the tape of that game to fire up the lads.  My most treasured piece of Fighting Illini memorabilia is this program from that 1924 dedication game:
