Up To Speed - June 10, 2024

I was right there for the last week. But now I'm back here. First week of May + the first week of June, a beach trip to South Carolina + a full family beach trip to Florida.

2014 me: "I'm not really a beach vacation guy. I like doing things, not sitting."
2024 me: "There's just something so freeing about sitting in a chair with your toes in the sand, nothing on the agenda, brain turned off."

This morning I'm flipping my brain back on. I feel like I could write 5,000 words (and I just might). The neighbor is having some construction done, so there's the sound of a jackhammer (and the beep-beep of a truck in reverse) just outside my window... yet I don't care at all. I guess I'm just Zen Robert now. At least until this vacation relaxation wears off.

I need to get up to speed so let's get me Up To Speed.
