Where Do We Stand? February 11th

We have finally fallen out of the rankings. I say "finally" because I had expected it to happen at least four times and yet we kept hanging in there. This week... no number in front of our name.

I guess it's kind of fun to be the "wait, they have seven losses before February and they're still ranked?" team (for once). I remember resenting that team when my 2010's Illini team was maybe gonna be ranked for the first time in years but that 7-loss team was blocking our path. Maybe we've been that team for some other fanbase the last few weeks. I like that thought.

We have eight losses now. And eight is enough to push us out of the AP Poll. Has it dropped us in the equally-important I-N-I? Let's see.
